Sinners

The blameless

What a sight to see

With their heads held high

Walking with dignity

What pride they wear

When forced to bear

The weakness and err

Of us sinners down here

When they get to the gate

And come face to face

Maybe that’s when they’ll see

They, too, needed grace

“When the Pharisees saw this, they asked his disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?” On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

Matthew 9:11-13

Don’t be a Crybaby

He will always respond to a repentant heart with grace
But come to Him with an argument
and you’ll fight and kick to defend your case

“Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” Hebrews 4:16
