There was a check in my spirit, telling me something wasn’t right. So I watched and prayed asking for wisdom to discern Your voice.
And moment after moment, confirmation you sent to assure these revelations were not just clanging cymbals, useless noise.
I closed my eyes yet kept asking “are you sure this is the truth”?
And louder the answers became, so loud I could no longer ignore or refuse.
With Your gift of sight, came strength I had not before known.
With strength, came assurance, I don’t walk this narrow path alone.
As sheep among wolves, some truths, we don’t want to see or accept. But with truth, comes freedom. So if you are confused and answers are seemingly hidden, don’t stop praying for clarity.
“Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.” Matthew 7:7
“Wounds from a sincere friend are better than many kisses from an enemy.” Proverbs 27:6
“Your own ears will hear him. Right behind you a voice will say, “‘This is the way you should go,”’ whether to the right or to the left. Then you will destroy all your silver idols and your precious gold images. You will throw them out like filthy rags, saying to them, “Good riddance!” Isaiah 30:21-22
And when the truth hurts,
“Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.” Colossians 3:13
“If any household or town refuses to welcome you or listen to your message, shake its dust from your feet as you leave.” Matthew 10:14
