Don’t look for others’ sin
Look for the Savior
Don’t worry about the clothes you’re in
Trust only God’s favor
Don’t contemplate the days ahead
Surrender today’s trials and behavior
Don’t look for others’ sin
Look for the Savior
Don’t worry about the clothes you’re in
Trust only God’s favor
Don’t contemplate the days ahead
Surrender today’s trials and behavior
I’m driven into your arms
Where I’m known and embraced
I’m driven to your heart
Where my tenderness is safe
“You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance.” Psalms 32:7-10
I was lost in the abyss of life
But felt your calling in my heart
Unable to see the right path
You pulled me out of the dark
My rescuer, My Savior
You walk into the storms
You calm the waters all around me
And safely carry me to shore.
He’s the hope for the broken
The light in the dark
Our sight
when we can no longer see
where we are
He’s the producer of miracles
The way out of our storms
Bringing heaven’s power
To our fading earthly forms
Revelation 19: 11-13, 16
I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. …. On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written:
KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
I wish I could say I’ve been a victor
And stayed the course with You
I wish I could say I kept my faith
And never truly doubted You
I wish I could say I’ve been stronger
And stood on solid ground
I wish I could say I learned my lessons
And never looked back or turned around
I wish I could say I’ve been good
And won this war for You
Truth is I’ve been a traitor and a fool
And the only real hero is You
