Inside my weakness, struck with flaws
Your power and plan considers them all
Never blind nor deaf, not surprised by defeat
But with a smile and a nudge,
You get me back on my feet
You knew the path, You knew the way
You knew what it would take
to prepare me for this day.
No obstacles block Your will
The blueprint You carefully devised
Each road we’re led down with intention
No detour is a surprise
What joy there is in surrender
To trust Your answer whether yea or nay
What sweetness there is in knowing
You’ve already paved the way
May the blessings You place
right in front of me
Not be dimmed by the sorrow
of unmet dreams
Nor disregarded or ignored
because I was searching for another door.
In Your will, there is hope of a future
Apart from my own thoughts or plans
May I not miss Your blessing or calling
Because “No” my heart would not understand.
